Since becoming fully qualified as a wedding hair and makeup artist in 2008, I become passionate about wedding hair and makeup as I gain the most satisfaction and enjoyment from working with brides on one of the most special days of their lives, their Wedding Day!
I love helping brides to look and feel amazing on their big day, ensuring they feel beautiful and relaxed, so they can really enjoy the day.
As an experience stylist I always recommend a trial before the wedding day. A trial is a very good opportunity for you to meet your stylist beforehand and develop a friendly relationship so that you feel comfortable and relaxed on your wedding day. It also gives you the opportunity to try out any ideas you may have for your wedding hair and makeup.
Whatever style you choose; curly or straight, smooth and sleek or tousled and sexy, you might be surprised at what your hair can do! I’m a professional when it comes to creating beautiful wedding hair and makeup . I recommend having a trial as soon as your wedding date is set. If possible, take along a photo of your Dress and any headpiece or hair accessories.
Before your trial, start compiling ideas for your wedding hair and makeup styles. Search the internet for pictures or cut out pictures from magazines. On the trial day, in addition to your own ideas we will look at my comprehensive collection of wedding photo ideas for wedding hair and makeup and give you advice on what style will best enhance your natural beauty.
After you have chosen a wedding hair and makeup style we will proceed with the hair and makeup trial. I use high quality, camera ready products such as M*A*C, Makeup Forever and Masquerade Cosmetics and one of the most advanced makeup application techniques; Airbrushing.
There are many benefits to Airbrush makeup; it provides flawless coverage by minimising skin imperfections while giving skin a beautifully natural finished looking result, it is water resistant and will last for up to fourteen hours or more, custom blended foundation colours are used, creates a flawless complexion, alcohol & oil free, sweat, smear & tear resistant and photographs beautifully.
When you have decided on your wedding hair and makeup styles we can design the hair and makeup styles you would like for the rest of the female bridal party – the bridesmaids and mother of the bride. They can come for a trial with you or at later date if you feel it is required. On your wedding day all eyes will be on you but don’t worry… on your big day I will make sure that with beautiful wedding hair and makeup you will look and feel confident and gorgeous!
